MAN UP is a project of Service For Peace Louisville and has been working in Louisville for the last three years to reduce crime and violence in Louisville through mentoring young men and strengthening marriage and families. MAN UP has a steering committee comprised of strong, mature men that is co-chaired by MeShorn Daniels and Frank Porter.

We have been very active in supporting neighborhood block watches and crime prevention working with LMPD and neighborhood groups. MAN UP responded to the youth violence attacks in downtown Louisville by creating a coalition of grassroots leaders and by helping to recruit Derby City Ambassadors in partnership with LMPD and the mayor’s office.

We need more men to take a stand for what we know is right.

MAN UP has it’s own website. Click here for further information.
